Who are the people that run Carry-A-Tune Technologies?

CARLO FRANZBLAU
President and Founder

CARLO FRANZBLAU

At the age of 13, Carlo Franzblau was offered the starring role of Conrad Birdie (think Elvis Presley) in his summer camp's production of "Bye-Bye Birdie" under one condition – he would not be singing any of the heartthrob's songs. Every time Carlo started to sing, he was either mobbed by hysterical groupies on stage or in one case, he was 'punched' to prevent his singing.

His inability to sing on key and on pitch as a young teenager led Mr. Franzblau, three decades later, to develop Singing Coach and Singing Coach Unlimited™, powered by Carry-A-Tune technology. Mr. Franzblau invented and designed the Carry-A-Tune software and serves as president and founder of Carry-A-Tune Technologies, where he is dedicated to teaching the world to sing – better.

Mr. Franzblau also serves as a principle in Thompson Group, a family-owned business. Thompson is a leading retail catalog and direct marketing company that publishes three popular catalogs: Linensource, Casual Living USA and Thompson Cigar. Prior to joining his family's business, Mr. Franzblau worked at American Express and also spent four years in the film industry in Los Angeles including working with Paramount Pictures.

With an MBA from Harvard Business School, Mr. Franzblau also attended Harvard College where he received a BA degree. He is an active member of numerous organizations including the Young Presidents Organization, Holocaust Museum of St. Petersburg Fla., Board of the Tampa Museum of Art and Board of Directors of Berkeley Preparatory School. He also is a director of the Tampa Yacht & Country Club Family Sailing Program.

KENNETH SPIEGEL
Vice President and General Manager

Kenneth Spiegel, who joined the company in May 2004, is responsible for top and bottom-line growth of the Carry-A-Tune Technologies business. Mr. Spiegel has nearly 20 years of experience in the software development field and has both created new software products and successfully brought them to market. He founded and headed the commercial software firm now known as Retail Dynamics, one of New York State's first value-added resellers of Great Plains Accounting Series, a multi-module enterprise financial solution. While there, he developed the first Microsoft Windows-based retail store management system to interface directly with Sharp brand electronic cash registers.

As business group manager for Covansys Corporation, a global consulting and technology services company specializing in industry-specific solutions, strategic outsourcing and integration services, he was responsible for full delivery and budgetary responsibility for a team of 60 who created five commercial software products in a five-year period. He also was National Software Quality Assurance practice leader for Covansys. As director of product development for Macola, Inc., Mr. Spiegel led the product design team of business analysts and software development pioneers to create the company's next-generation enterprise software product line.
